The Golf is our single biggest Volkswagen range, with parts stocked across four generations and split further by GTI/GTD/R trim versus standard TSI/TDI models. Here's how it breaks down.
Front Splitters
MK5 GTI (2003-2008) gets a 3-piece front splitter in Gloss Black or Carbon Fibre. MK6 GTD/GTI (2008-2013) has its own dedicated splitter, also in both finishes. Later generations are best checked against our fitting guides below before ordering, since splitter fitment is cut specifically to each bumper.
Rear Spoilers
This is our deepest Golf category. MK4 GTI/R32 (1997-2003) gets a choice of two roof spoiler styles in Gloss Black. MK5 GTI/R32 (2003-2008) has an OS-style roof spoiler in Gloss Black or Carbon Fibre. MK6 (2008-2013) splits into a standard TSI/TDI spoiler and a separate GTD/GTI/R20 spoiler, each in both finishes. MK7/MK7.5 (2013-2020) gets a roof spoiler across GTD, GTE, GTI, R and R Line trims. MK8 (2019+) has a roof spoiler for standard TSI/TDI models, in Carbon Fibre.
Rear Diffusers
MK6 and MK7/MK7.5 GTI/GTD are our strongest diffuser generations: valance and blade-style diffusers in Gloss Black or Carbon Fibre, plus a TCR-style diffuser kit with integrated LED detailing for MK7.5 GTI/GTD/GTE models.
Side Skirts
Side skirt extensions are also available for MK7 models — see our Golf MK7 side skirts fitting guide for the full install.
MK5 vs MK6 vs MK7 vs MK8 — What Changes
Each generation uses a different bumper and boot shape, so splitters, diffusers and spoilers don't cross over between them. Within a generation, GTI/GTD/R/R20 models often need a different part from standard TSI/TDI cars because of the different bumper design — check your exact trim, not just your generation, before ordering.
