Best VW Passat (B7/B8/CC) Styling Upgrades Guide (2026)

Best VW Passat (B7/B8/CC) Styling Upgrades Guide (2026)

The Passat has always been VW's understated, do-everything saloon and estate, and the CC spun that formula into a four-door coupe with a lower, more raked roofline. None of these are cars that need an aggressive styling package to look right — what works best is a boot or roof spoiler that tidies up the rear end, and on the B8, a front splitter that adds a bit of definition to an otherwise fairly plain nose.

Rear Spoiler: Passat CC (2013-2018)

For the facelifted CC, we stock a gloss black rear boot spoiler that follows the coupe roofline down towards the boot lid — the CC's low, sloping rear window means even a small spoiler reads clearly from most angles, unlike on a more upright saloon. This listing covers facelift models only (2013-2018); it will not fit the earlier pre-facelift CC.

Rear Spoilers: B8 Estate (2014-2022)

The B8 generation Passat Estate gets a rear roof spoiler in gloss black, mounted above the tailgate glass to break up the height of the rear window — a genuinely useful addition on the estate body style, where the rear end can otherwise look a little tall and slab-sided.

Front Splitter: B8 (2014-2019 pre-facelift)

For pre-facelift B8 models (2014-2019), we also stock a three-piece front splitter in gloss black ABS that adds depth beneath the factory front bumper. Being a three-piece design, it's straightforward to align and fit section by section, and it's the single most effective change you can make to the B8's fairly conservative front-end styling.

What's Limited Right Now

We want to be upfront about current stock: our B7 Estate roof spoiler and our B8 boot-lip spoiler are both temporarily out of stock as of this guide, so if either of those is what you're after, please check the product page for restock timing before planning a fitting date around it. The parts covered above — CC spoiler, B8 estate roof spoiler and B8 front splitter — are the ones we can currently supply.

Fitting Notes

All parts are supplied with 3M automotive adhesive tape for a no-drill fit. The CC and B8's factory paint is generally a good, consistent quality across the range, but as with any adhesive-fit part, a full isopropyl alcohol wipe-down before bonding and 24-48 hours' cure time before an automatic wash are what determine whether the fit lasts years or lifts at the edges within months.

Saloon, Estate or CC: Which Parts Fit What

It's worth being clear on body style before ordering: the CC spoiler is specific to the four-door coupe body and won't fit a standard Passat saloon or estate. The B8 estate roof spoiler is built for the estate's tailgate shape and won't fit the saloon boot lid. The B8 front splitter, by contrast, fits across saloon and estate B8 models, since the front bumper is shared across both body styles.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the CC spoiler fit the pre-facelift CC (2008-2012)?
No — this listing is for facelift models (2013-2018) only. The pre-facelift CC has a different boot lid shape.

Will the B8 front splitter fit a facelift (2019+) Passat?
This splitter is designed for pre-facelift B8 models (2014-2019). Please check your front bumper against our fitment photos if you have a facelift car.

Can I fit the B8 estate spoiler to a B8 saloon?
No — the estate roof spoiler is shaped for the estate's tailgate and rear window, which differs from the saloon boot lid.

When will the B7 and B8 boot spoilers be back in stock?
Stock is continually refreshed — please check the individual product pages for the latest availability, or get in touch and we can let you know when they're back.
