Tools you'll need
- Isopropyl alcohol (IPA) or a dedicated panel prep wipe
- Microfibre cloths (lint free)
- Masking tape and a tape measure
- The supplied fixing kit and roll of 3M tape
- A helper to hold the spoiler steady while you check the line
Step 1: Check your fitment
Confirm you have the 10th Generation Civic, FK7, 2016 to 2020, before ordering, check the listing to confirm against your exact trim.
Step 2: Clean and prep the surface
Wash the boot lid thoroughly and dry it completely. Wipe the mounting area with isopropyl alcohol to remove all wax, polish and road grime before fitting.
Step 3: Mask and mark your position
Use masking tape either side to mark a level line, measuring from the same reference points on both sides so the wing sits perfectly central and level.
Step 4: Dry fit before you commit
Offer the spoiler up using the supplied fixing kit without fully securing it. Check it sits flush and level within your marked guides, and that the mounting points line up correctly, before going any further.
Step 5: Secure the spoiler
Working from the centre outward, fit the spoiler using the supplied fixing kit and 3M tape as directed in the instructions. Given the size of this wing, we'd recommend a professional bodyshop or detailer fit it if you're not confident working with automotive fixings.
