The A3 has one of the longest histories in our range, with parts stocked across three generations — 8P, 8V and 8Y — and both saloon and Sportback body styles. Here's what actually makes a difference.
Rear Spoiler — Stocked Across Every Generation
This is the A3's strongest category. Sportback roof spoilers are available for 8P (RS3-style boot wing, both 3-door and 5-door), 8V and 8Y, all in gloss black. Saloon owners aren't left out either — there's an M4-style boot spoiler for 8V/8Y saloons and a dedicated S3-style lip for the 8Y. If you only fit one thing, this is the easiest, most affordable place to start.
Front Splitter — Match It to Your Trim
Splitters are cut differently depending on trim, not just generation. We stock an 8P facelift splitter, an 8V S Line splitter (both the earlier and 2017+ shape), and an 8Y S Line facelift splitter for 2024+ cars. A non-S Line 8V splitter is also available for standard SE Sportback bumpers.
Rear Diffuser — New for the 8Y
A rear diffuser is only currently stocked for the 8Y S Line saloon in gloss black. It's the newest addition to the A3 range and a good way to finish off the back end once the spoiler and splitter are already done.
8P vs 8V vs 8Y — What Changes
The 8P (2003-2013) uses an older bumper and boot shape entirely different from the 8V (2013-2020) and 8Y (2020+). Saloon and Sportback body styles each need their own spoiler too, so "8V A3" alone isn't enough to pick the right part — confirm body style and trim (S Line or standard) before ordering.
